I get it there are a LOT of cleansers out there and all kinds of opinions on what is good and what isn't (see my TikTok Rant video here).
In today's Beauty S'Cool we are going to cover my two cleansers and two additional products you can use during the cleansing process of your skincare routine to ensure extra cleanliness.
Soothe
FIrst up we have Soothe. Soothe has a very creamy and velvety texture. Great for dry and sentive skin. Really great for the winter months and my age management clients. I alwasy suggest this for during the winter months when we are in dry heat and have exposed our skin to harsh heat in the shower as well.
Purify
My most popular cleanser, Purify is a gel cleanser. Purify is great for oily and acne prone skin. It is also perfect for the summer time and great for cleansing without stripping your skin. This feels so refreshing and I recommend this to all my acne clients.
Additional tips for your cleansing routine
- You can mix the two cleansers (1 pump each) as well! If you are feeling dry but having a breakout - this is a great way to attack both issues at once.
2. If you want to add a little extra to your cleanser, do 1 pump of either Soothe or Purify and then just a little bit of my Refine mask.
Refine calms redness and inflammation and can just boost your cleanser for that extra OOMPF if you will. Refine pulls out toxins and this is great during the winter time. In the summer - when you feel a little extra oily, this is ALSO a great combo.
Before Cleansing
For a non-pore clogging option to remove your makeup use MICELLAR water and make your own make up wipes. Use my Micellar Water and 2x2 esthetic wipes. It is low absorbing so it doesn’t soak in to the material and it goes directly onto your face.
Remove your makeup with the wipe with the micellar water and then cleanse. Please do this twice a day (morning and night).
