Mighty Mandelic Acid Serum

Our 10% Mandelic Acid Serum plays many roles: radiance renewer, tone corrector, acne fighter. This serum is great for most skin types; especially great for darker skin tones and sensitive skin. It also works wonders for those with hormonal acne. We call it mighty for a reason!

Though great for all skin types, those with dark or sensitive skin, in particular, should get familiar with Mandelic acid. This alpha-hydroxy acid, derived from almonds, has a larger molecular structure than other AHAs which means it’s absorbed more slowly into the skin and it won’t irritate skin or trigger hyperpigmentation. It’s antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, gentle exfoliation and melanin-inhibiting properties make it ideal for targeting the big three concerns: acne, discoloration, and signs of aging.

Mandelic is a solo artist, though it also shines in use with Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid. Otherwise, avoid use with other acids and never combine with acne medications.

Apply 1-2 pumps every morning after cleansing and before any other serums or products. Allow the serum to dry completely before moving on to finishing products like Skin Dew, Skin Drip and Skin Whip. Use this serum once a day for exfoliation, brightening and antioxidant benefits.
